Privacy Policy

This is a privately operated, self-hosted instance of BrightBean Studio, used by its operator to schedule and publish content to the operator's own social media accounts. This policy explains what data it handles.

1. Data we collect

Account login: the email address and password (stored hashed) used to sign in to this service.
Connected platform data: when you connect a platform such as TikTok, the basic profile information that platform returns (for example display name, avatar and account ID), and the access tokens needed to publish on your behalf.
Content: the posts, captions, images and videos you create or upload for scheduling.
Post metrics: statistics the platforms provide about your published posts, where you grant that permission.

2. How we use it

Data is used only to provide the service: showing your connected accounts, publishing the content you schedule, and displaying analytics about your own posts. It is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.

3. Storage and security

Data is stored on infrastructure controlled by the operator. Access tokens and platform credentials are stored encrypted.

4. Retention and deletion

Data is kept while the account is connected. Disconnecting a platform removes its access tokens. You can request deletion of your data from the operator at any time, and you can revoke this service's access from each platform's own settings, such as TikTok's "Manage app permissions".
